also its developing brown spots, i heard that that could be due to lack of iron, all i am dosing atm is flourish and flourish excel, could i use flourish iron aswell?

I'm newbish but it's kinda hard to tell from your pic, as can barely see the shape of any one leave. Could it be wisteria? :confused:

I am thinking hygrophila corymbosa. Check around the net for some pics of it and tell me what u think.

thats not it, the leaves are almost spade shaped, its also a stem plant( should have said that earlier)

well if no one knows the name, any ideas on the reason for the plant turning brown and the plant decaying

That doesn't look like anything I've seen, or it's in such bad shape that it's unrecognizable. If everything else in your tank is doing well, I wouldn't worry. Maybe it's not even aquatic, which would explain why it's dying.
yeah that what i was thinking. yeah everything else is doing great
the end of the vales are a little brown but they are producing new leaves so im not worried aboutt hat
its looking a bit better now, so maybe it is aquatic, im confused
