Anybody ever bought stuff from Aquarium Driftwood? Either driftwood or plants or both? Their packages (http://www.aquariumdriftwood.com/packages.htm) look interesting and reasonable in price.

I just got some really nice Driftwood from ebay. I paid $14 (shipping included) for a 19" long x 13" wide x 6" deep piece. You can also find plants on ebay. Here's 4 pieces of driftwood going for $5.50 from the person I got mine from.

I've heard good things about Aquarium Driftwood. I ended up buying my driftwood from aquacave.com. I purchased three large pieces of malaysian driftwood for about $16 ea. Not bad at all, and the pieces are very nice. One of these days I'll get my hands on a digital camera and post some pics.

It is locally havested driftwood from Alabama, it is very light weight and if it dries out it will not sink. after a year in the aquarium, it has really gotten smaller as a result of decomposition and pieces breaking off. It had some kind of fine green hairs growing on it wich turned out to be some kind of moss that is to this day still growing on it but very very slowly. I dont mind that. I was disappointed since it is quite expensive and the piece was not nearly as big as I thought it would be. Hardly a centerpiece for my tank. At this time Dr. fosters and Smith are having a sale on African Driftwood wich is awsome. It doesnt float even when dried out and is ready to put in with a little rinse. I have puchased 6 pieces already and i am very happy with it. But you will be surprised how small a 12-18 inch piece is. I would order as big as possible, you wont be dissappointed, its a great price.

On the other hand I was having trouble getting small pieces for a ten gallon. I talked to Florida Driftwood and they sent me 5 really nice pieces of sinking type for 15 dollars. :)
