:argh Well, stupid yellow labs swimming against the current, black calvus hiding at ALL times, daffy-dill guarding the rocks against all comers, other daffodil hiding under the filter ad naseum... So today doubled the rocks for more cover. NOW yellow labs hiding above the filter, behind the heater (!) and back in the corner. Filter brichardi still under filter. Other daffodil and calvus nowhere to be seen. Is this usual after re-arranging the waterscape???
hmm - just checked water: NH3 - .25, NO2 - 2.0 (!), NO3 - 5.0, pH 7.8 as usual. Just did a 25% water change today, guess I'll do another tomrrow.
BTW, this is a Bio-spira tank - same batch I used on my itty bitty 2.5g that crashed and burned. Got a different batch that I'll add tomorrow after the water change.
My perfect, no problem community tank must just be a freak;)
TIA
oh yeah - calvin the calvus is really still alive:D
