Has anyone out there tried using lego in Freshwater tropical tanks? Are there any toxicity issues?
If you have used it how do you make it stay on the bottom?

Are you talking about decoration or using them as bioballs?? Either way, they should be perfectly fine...just rinse them off well and throw em in. I use them along with plastic army men in my XP3 for bio filtration instead of bioballs...works just as well and didnt cost me a cent...too bad the neighbors kid cant find his toys!! :D :D

Everybody else has already answered correctly. It is safe. But I just thought it was interesting to add that I guess there's a lot of people putting Lego in tanks... I remember reading this question as an FAQ on an official Lego site somewhere.

I have some legs in my 10 gallon as decorations. A lego palm tree and a leg canon and shark.
I have also built tunnels and "castles" for my tank and fish to swim through.
