Alright, I bought 3 dwarf frogs to add to my 30 gallon. I know these frogs need extremely good water conditions and no chlorine so I tested my nitrates and ph before I got them. Everything was good as usual. So I bought the frogs, put them in my tank and they were swimming like crazy, I thought that they must be really active because Ive never owned them before. After 4 days, all three died.
I think they died because i have pretty strong water currents in my tank. I have an air pump that is recommended for up to 50 gallons and it doesnt power a filter or anything. The whole back of my tank is a a layer of bubbles and I have bubbles coming up from 2 decorations. I also have a hang on power filter. Do you think that these frogs died becasue they had to use so much effort to swim against the water currents just to get air and wernt able to just lie around. I cant think what else it could be. They were able to eat because I dropped the food inside this decoration where there were no water currents. Also, are too much currents bad for my fish?
THANKS
