Well, I've officially joined the ranks of the rest of the folks out here who have had bad luck with a gold nugget. Mine died last night, found it this morning. Sad day....:sad

What were you feeding it? How long had you had it?

I had it for about a month and was feeding it sinking shrimp pellets and BIO Blend sinking pellets. The other pleco loves 'em both, so do the upside down cats and the one spotted raphael I have.

Golden nuggets are one of the species that need a lot of woody material as well--any driftwood available in the tank?

Well good luck to you, I hope you have more success than I did!
And OG, to answer your question, no, I don't have any driftwood in there, but before I get another one you can bet I will. Thanks for the tip, just wish I had asked earlier.

Lost my first gold nugget 4 months ago after 4 months stay. On my second one, plenty of driftwood, never see it eat, has other exotic plecos as tankmates
