betta fry help please!!!

Hello all,

I have like ten or so betta fry in a 2.5 gallon tank, and I would like to move them to a ten gallon I have conditioned for them. They are about one and a half days old, and some of them are already free swimming, while others are not. So, how do I go about changing them from the small tank into the larger, and when should I do it? Any suggestions would help.

I would wait until they are all free swimming--shouldn't take long. Then, get an acrylic box of glass that you can chase them into, and move them this way. I would not risk netting them, as they can get caught in the net and injured very easily.

You can also often siphon the fry out--use a large tube, so the pressure is lower.
