what would make good dither fishes for a convict & firemouth in a 55 gal? tiger barbs?

A dempsey,redtailshark, threelined catfish,or a pictus cat would work

tiger barbs would be ok, be sure to get at least 6. and if they dont work, giant danios would. a dempsey wouldnt work, it'll probably be the highest in the pecking order of the tank and dominate the other fish. a 3-lined or pictus cat probably would get pushed in a corner of the tank when the convict gets bigger, since they do dwell in the bottom of the tank with the catfish. a red tailed shark might be able to hold its own, but im not sure about that

actually i got a firemouth, 5-8 cons, 2 oscars, and a jd in my 55 together and they do just fine, but it probably depends on the size of the fish. those cons can be vicious little **** asses.

I have a 55g with a convict a three lined cat and a dempsey with a rainbow shark a jewel and two plecos my buddy has a 75g with a pictus,dempsy,firemouth,groumie,and a pleco
