Hi! Mother pleco just laid eggs 2 days(2nd batch in 1 month) and they hatched, I did seperate them because there are other fish in the tank that will eat them. I only was able to save one from the other batch who is now about 1/2 inch. Is it ok to the release the 1/2 inch pleco into the community? I have serpaes tetras and 10 syd. petricola (who does not bother fry I hear..) Thanks...

20 gallon:
10 serpeas
10 petricolas-
3 young albino bristlenose- 1 m/2 F
Without the serpaes the tank would look deserted.
I think I am going to get rid of my Falwe Rock Brichardis (1 pair plus 3 1/2 inch babies) and just use the 10 gallon as a raising baby bristlenose tank.
This could be profitable. Albino bristlenose goes for 15.00 at the LFS. I could sell them at 5.00 each and....make some $$$.
Yes, a 10 gallon makes a wonderful growout tank... I would think though, with just serpaes and petricola, that the pleco'd be ok. ;)
