Penguin refillable media cartridge

Looking for the refillable cartridge for the Penguin 170/330...bought several a few years ago and they have stopped carrying them locally and ThatFishPlace no longer has them. Anyone know of any place online/mailorder in the U.S. that still carries them? Thanks in advance (and nice to see everyone after a years-long absence).

Even better: throw out the Penguin cartridges, buy some foam inserts for an AquaClear 300 and cut them to fit the Penguin's filter well. Cheap, good mech filtration and they last almost forever.

I'll go one better. Keep one old penguin cartridge but tear off the blue filter and through away the carbon. Buy a big $2 bag of filter floss, tear off a wide strip and use elastic bands to fasten it to the plastic backer of the old penguin cartridge. Cheap, cheap cheap and does the same job.

Of course, this assumes you have no chemicals or medications you are trying to remove from you tank.

I do all of the above :D
I have new cartridges, snap open cartridges, jerry rigged cartridge frames, and floss cut to size.
Which one I use on any given day depends on mood- it's great to have all of these options!
These Penguins are nice that way.
