I just made a DIY CO2 supplier for my fish tank, and I was wondering where to place the hose? I heard the bubbles are suppose to be in a turbulent area or go through the filter so the CO2 gas dissolves.... Any thoughts?? Thanks !

I have mine set next to powerheads, so the bubbles get chopped into tiny bits and spread around the tank. A diffuser is another option--the Hagen kits come with one that you can but individually as well. They work very well.

Depending on your filter, you can let them get sucked up in the intake. Of course, this is Do-It-Yourself so you could build your own reactor. Try doing a search in this forum for "reactor" and/or "CO2". You should get ample ideas.
I built an inline reactor with my canister filter. Haven't hooked it up yet though.

Is it OK if the CO2 bubbles go through the carbon??
