55 gallon fresh: (up and running since October 2001, but some of the fish I've had longer than that in another setup)
The fishes:
4 clown loaches (4-5")
2 Botia striata
2 Corydoras aeneus
1 Gibbiceps plec (9")
1 blue gourami (Trichogaster)
Plants: Cryptocoryne lutea, wendtii, Java moss (lace and the common stuff)
Filters: Rena Filstar XP2, Whisper 60
Heat: 300 watt Tronic, tank is approx. 77 degrees
Lighting: nothing special, can't you tell from my plants?
pH: generally around 6.6, but I tend not to worry about it too much
Hardness: honestly, I don't measure it, but if the need should arise, I can.
The Schedule: I feed once a day, late night. I try to mix it up a bit but my usual foods are Tetra ColorBits, Wardley Shrimp Pellets, and Hikari Algae Wafers. I also keep in the freezer and feed brine shrimp, mysis, bloodworms, and tubifex on occasion, not more than twice a week.
Water changes are usually every two weeks, about ten gallons. I've stepped it up as of late with stunning results (like spawning corys).
The 33 Gallon:
Inhabitants are two goldfish. One is a telescope eyed fantail, bright orange, have had him since Feb. 2002. The other is a regular old feeder that I've had since June 1998. Tank is also infested with anacharis. Filtration is a Rena XP1 canister. Not heated. pH is approx. neutral; I don't measure anything else. Water changes take place every two weeks, ten gallons or so. Feeding tends to be evening or late night, if I forget to do it earlier. I feed Hikari Goldfish flake as a staple. The aforementioned frozen foods find their way into the tank occasionally, as well.
