will it be ok to let the plant float my darn tiger barbs wont leave it alone i hoping that the plant grow so more and then i can put it back in the gravel

not sure got it from wally world and said micro sword on the tag is in a small clumb if that helps any the leaves are real small too

I let some of it float for a few days and the roots got eaten.
