Glass canopy

I read here a while ago about someone making there own glass canopy, but I can't find it now. What I'm looking for are the hinges. It is going to be for a 75. Also would plexiglass work? There isn't going to be any weight on the lid, becuse I mounted the lights to the wooden canopy that I just finished?

they should have the plastic hinges at the pet store, the ones that the glass just clips onto. i wouldnt use acrylic because if you dont have a couple braces across the top it will start to bow.

Most places that sell aquariums should have it. sold by the foot or in measured length.
