live rock/live sand???????

hey now...

the live rock I saw at my LFS, can that be used in a brackish tank with the lowered salinaty????

Same thing for the live sand..... I have been reading up alot of info in the Marine forums and am wondering if this stuff (rock/sand) is tolerant of brackish conditions.....

Depends on the salinity. I wouldn't go any where below 1.018 (I think this is even too low but it will still survive) but not going below 1.020 would be better. So technically no, it won't withstand most of the brackish range. Anyway, hope this helps and good luck.
