Thought I'd update everyone on how the betta's I have are doing. The two that I was able to breed in November have about 6 alive, so it will be interesting to see what colors I get from the clear and red female and the turquiose and yellow male I have. They're just over a month old and already two have been fighting and have been taken out and put into jars so not to hurt each other or the remaining ones. Haven't been able to get any decent pictures of them, little brats don't like to stay still long enough.

Thats awesome. Will you be posting how you got your bettas to breed? I've heard that they are a pain in the butt to get going.. much less raise as fry.

Yes, please share how you did everything! I'm interested in breeding mine, but haven't found any betta breeders I can discuss it with yet! So I'd love to hear how it's all done. :) Thanks!
And I don't know if you're new, but welcome anyway! :)

Actually, they pretty much did it on their own. Got together while I was sleeping and woke up to find them underneath the bubble nest. They're not that hard to raise so far, as long as you don't accidently knock the light into the tank. All I've done is feed them in the morning, afternoon and before I went to bed. I kept the female in the tank for about 3 hours after I found them and when the male started chasing her away. I'm no expert at breeding bettas, this is my first time I've gotten the chance to do it. Most of the info I've gotten from people on here and they've helped me get most of what I've been able to so far. Ask the right questions on here and you'll get the help you need.
