I have a friggin 29gallon high with an eclipse 2. I want to remove the eclipse 2 and put more lights on it. what are the best light and the best filters to go on this setup?

How about a wishy-washy "it depends?" For $130, you can get a Corallife 2X65W PC hood that will be good for polyps and soft corals. If you want to spend more for metal halide, then you can keep more kinds of stony corals and clams.
