how do you guys clean your malawi tank?

I have quite a few Malawi cichlid tanks, and I've never been bitten. Actually, the fish don't get THAT big, and they aren't usually aggressive except against conspecifics, so I don't see how there would be problems with them biting. What kind of fish are you keeping (or planning to keep) that you're worried about?

I"ve never been bit. Most of the time if i put my hand in teh tank they hide. When they do finally come out they are more interested in trying to eat the stuff coming up through the gravel vac then me.
I can't imagine any of those fish posing a biting hazard. Almost all of my mbuna head for the rocks to hide if I reach into the tank. I have a couple that will come up to the surface if they think I'm going to feed them, but most of 'em are pretty shy.

Mine nibble me, but no one's ever outright bitten me. And even then, they only nibble because I hand feed them every once in awhile. They're just checking for goodies.
