i have a 135 with deep sand bed and lots of caves and rock and some dead brain coral. Tank was established with gravel substrate and was changed to sand on sunday. Tank is just about reestablished because 3 shrimp are completely gone already. The tank doesnt currently have any fish in it but the fish i have in my quarintine tank were in it and they are a Clownfish, A coral beauty angel, and a yellow tail damsel. Now this sunday i will put the clown and the damsel in the main tank if the chemistry is right, but the angel im treating with melafix because a rock was dropped on his head and caused a gash in his head so he is going to be in the q tank until its healed, but i need ideas on fish i can put in here. I have 200 lbs of sand in there for about a 4 or 5 inch sand bed with lots of rock, and soon more fiji rock and live sand but what fish can i put in there. Looking for lots of color and unique fish like butterflys and possibly another dwarf angel, and whatever else you guys think. Tank has 2 Emperor 400s and a Protein Skimmer (not on yet) and 2 powerheads and heater. So up for ideas!!! Thanks all, Justin

Well... All your fish are moderately aggressive, so you probably shouldn't get many really peaceful fish like chromis and cardinals unless you put them in the tank before your aggressive fish, so I'd say to start by looking at gobies and reef-safe wrasses...

If your substrate is more 5" than 4", you might be able to have a couple jawfish, which will play hide and seek type games with you and sort of dance together if you keep a couple.

The other way you could go is to start adding more aggressive fish to your tank, since the 3 you've got are all pretty territorial. Generally, you want to add your fish in order from most peaceful to least peaceful...

I'd say you are better off finding some fish you like and seeing if they will work in your systems than asking others what fish they like in your system, though. ;)

I'm pretty sure you only want one dwarf angel in your tank, but in a tank that size you probably can have a larger angel fish, too! The dwarf angels don't like other dwarf angels.
