discus advise needed

i have a 35gallon tall tank (36inx15x24) which is slightly over stocked. i've decided to split the fish up.

neons going into new 10g with male guppy
gouramis into 15 gallon
catfish back to LFS

so i'm wondering if i can now have discus in my 35g?
only thinking of 2 or 3
and what can go with them?
can i leave in the corys, rasbora and clown pl*co? or do they have to be moved.

Just an opinion, but I'd suggest a larger tank to start with. There's some that will advise 10 gallons per Discus. I would go larger and make that 15 gallons per Discus. I had 8 in an 80 gallon and realized it was a bit too small of an aquarium for them. Discus like to be with 4 or more of there own.... I guess 2 would be ok though... Have a plan if the 2 start fighting.
