Neon tetra question

I have 4 neons, 3 of which have a strange lump on their tummies. Is it possible that they are pregnant? Or is there another ailment that could be affecting them. All water levels are well within range. Ammonia 0, Nitrite 0, Nitrate 10. Any ideas?? Thanks.

Hey Jess

I too have had some neons a while ago with odd lumps in the same position but never found out what it was. From what ive read and other peoples experiences, they are very hard to breed in the aquarium.
Mine are still ok but minus the lumps.
Hopefully yours will come right.

2 of my neons also have a large belly or lump also....I too was wondering what it was but was kinda afraid to ask without worrying about nothing...hopefully they are pregnant. I'd like to take care of some baby neons :)
