Hey everyone, it's been a while since I've posted, but here it goes. I bought an entirely new set up yesterday and I'd like some suggestions/questions answered.
I got a 20 gallon tank (only 20 gallons because I'm in college, and it's easy to move) with an all glass top. A Coralife 6700K, 65 watt flourescent freshwater lamp. A fluval 104 filter and Plant-Gro CO2 System. I am going for a Amazonian feel with the tank.
First question: I have a piece of driftwood that I FOUND, I boiled it about 4 times, but I'm still a little iffy about using it. Should I?
So moving on, what plants would be good to use, and what fish would you suggest? I'm only going for an Amazon FEEL, so it's not a specialized tank, it is a community, but I'd like to use mostly South American fish. I already have 3 Buenos Aires Tetras (Hemigrammus caudovittatus) a bleeding heart, which I plan to buy more of. 3 Various species of Cory's, Dwarf Sucker(Otocinclus affinis )(and a betta(don't want to get rid of it). What should I get? (both plants and fish)
