Holy man, that thing is huge. I'd be scared to hold it.Imagine getting stabbed with one of its spines :eek:

OUCH!! that's what I was thinking too valerie! But I was kind thinking one of these was the same (at lest the skin) as the common... whose skin is totally brutal if ya looked at one close up!

what is that big s*lit looking thing in it's head? it's gills? that thing looks like a huge cut 0_O

I think that is where they have cheek spikes, not sure though:confused:

my mom had a pleco that big and it screemed when we took it out

Man that thing is huge! You know, I saw a Pl*co about that size at the lfs near here just last week!
