I have a few questions about snails
1st how can you tell is there male or female
2nd how often do they breed
3rd what special things do you have to do to keep them
and how many babies do they have thanxz

also look at my golden shark and tell me if you like him. hes with my red tail black shark witch sadly passed away 4 months ago

im not good at adding photos so i dont know if i will work

It greatly depends on which type of snail you are speaking of, the larger snails do take two to tango, many of the smaller ones do not.

Here is an article on the basics of snails, including description and breeding practices of the more common types.
SNAILS

Snails have lay lots of eggs that hatch into lots of baby snails. I think the best way to prevent that is to keep some fish like eating eggs. Some fish will even eat small snails.

I know many fish eat snails and especially the small ones, but I didn't know of any that eat the eggs. What type of fish will eat snail eggs?

I've read that loaches, plecos, and other will eat snail eggs though I haven't witnessed it myself. Of course they have to be in reach of the fish which may not be the case. If they get laid above the water line, it's probably easiest to just scrape them off and dispose of them.
