My green sevrum keeps eating all the plants i put into the tank.
Someone suggested a java fern, but he just ripped it apart.
Is there any type of plant that he can go with?

Yup.
Severums like to do that.
The only plants I have been able to keep with my breeding pairs are most of the anubius plant species, and onion plants. The big bulb variety of onion plants are the best.
The only problem with the onion plants are to make sure that the bulb stays above the gravel. Don't let the severums bury it or it will rot and stink out your house. If/when above the gravel they grow like mad and the severums won't touch them.
