Strangest Fish??

What are some of the strangest fish people have ver owned? A couple that I have had were: a flatfish that was in stock at my LFS; a goby that I specially ordered in (it was really expensive and died after a year!:mad:; And I have considered buying a "freshwater" puffer after seeing a friends. I've had a few others that are a bit more odd, but they are fairly common...
 
Currently I'm crazy about these two:

Saddled Bichir (Polypterus endlicheri)

I've heard you can sever these guys spine and it will grow back!

Knife fish

Edit: gobies and bichirs like mentioned are pretty weird. Same with the black ghost knife, senses through electrical vibration in the water.

Archer fish are wicked too.

You are right on dot. They are both prehistoric fish. I especially love those jagged fins/spines running along the back to the end of the tail. They look awesome when erect. :D
