i've just finished the stream i was building, to flow into a couple of small ponds.
below is picture of ponds before stream was finished.

i'll post some pictures of the finished stream as soon as the camara batteries have charged.
its around 13ft long with to small water falls then the fall into the small bog pond then a fall into the main pond. the stream that been planted with surface growing plants and grasses, the edges have hostas and large flowering plants against the wall.
then small rock plants around the front (where patio will be soon) and inbetween the edge rocks.
had couple prodlems, the pump was to powerfull when we first tested the stream and the water went over the sides in a few places. we inceased the height of the liner around the edge and put more stones on it.
we decreased the flow from the pump by having it run the filter box to.
it's been flowing now for 4 days and i'm about to start the cycle, with water and filter matrial form my pond and a couple of feeder fish.
the stream has already attracted frogs which are now living under the waterfalls, and both ponds are full with baby mosquitoes and bloodworms, so fish should have feast when they move in
