I've finally stopped hiding behind all my algae and got up the nerve to post some pics. Go here: http://www.imagestation.com/album/?id=4286475111 (older pics available in my other albums, see under "All StarryUW's albums" near the bottom)

I recently added the lotus and E. rubin, both probably very bad choices. But then I made some good choices by adding Lysimachia mummularia and Hemianthus callitrichoides. The latter I'm very very excited about, as you can see by the number of pics included. I think it's spreading a little, and definitely not declining, so it's a good sign. I also got rid of all my Limnohila because it was just growing too fast and not so pretty lately. Also got rid of most of my L. repens, too fast-growing.

Otherwise, I've been at my wit's end lately trying to make this tank look respectably aquascaped. Suggestions and comments are welcome.

Edit: Just a little note, sorry about visible equipment. I never really spend time getting the tank "ready" for pics, I just shoot away when the mood strikes me. Maybe one day when it's worth spending the time :)

Great looking tank Starry! Too bad I have to sign up and login to see all the pics though.

You should check out the link in my sig. It's a local thing that also lets you put a pile up pics up in your own "gallery" once you sign up. Not trying to sell u something or anything like just hope you will check it out

Register so they get my e-mail. Not me I only get about 2 e-mails a day and want to keep it that way.

Sorry guys, I just assumed that everyone already uses ImageStation, it seems to be popular. Better than other free providers in any case.
As for junk mail - what I have done for YEARS is give every site my hotmail email, never my real one. So all junk goes to hotmail, and I just check it every 2 or 3 weeks to delete everything. That way my actual address stays clean. Something to think about, and better than just avoiding half of the internet.

I'll try to get the pics onto my website, but I've been having problems with their FTP.

Nice tank Starry.

No probs. with sign on, that's what hotmail's for. Folks, hotmail's free and it's an easy way to give an e-mail to any site that wants you to sign on or provide an e-mail address for software downloads or whatnot. Show up once a week, empty trash, good to go.

I am using Yahoo, and it has improved 100% with their newest upgrade. Also, there's a free image hosting place called Photobucket with hotlinking allowed and unlimited picture storage. One guy I know has over 500 pics in it that he is hotlinking to other sites. Great place! Check it out!

Starry, your tank is marvelous! I hope I can do half as good a job on my new one as you did with yours. Absolutely superb!

For those that don't want to register try http://bugmenot.com/

It's supposed to bypass the registration process.

The first pic does look real good!

Why can't you "copy and paste" with the IMG button on here?

Picture Trail has a feature that lets you choose pics to show for auction sites. I copy and paste pics right here. Can't that also be done on Image Station?
