Hey guys

I've got two 10' BGKs that are hovering around the tank vertically for the past 6 hours. I did notice that the white bands on one of the tails is.........maybe pink going on red.
Water is really good.
Whats the verdict, as i have never seen them do this before, i have had them almost two years now.

first of all, you are able to keep 2 of them together so your tank must be pretty big?

I have been keeping black/brown ghost for several years (but only one in a tank) and only seen this behavior when there is no hiding place in the tank or when there is a shift in water quality or chemistry.

do you think they may be mating? I would be interest to hear more about your setup.

Hey Bghost

They are in a 6x2x21/2 with a otto 750n powerhead and a 3 foot sump.
One usually has a cave and the other shares a 11/2 foot hollow log with some clown loaches.
Woke up this morning to find them both together on the bottom, now i find this strange as well because usually they are in the hiddy holes.
Breeding.......well i dont know buddy.
Do yours sleep on their sides?
