to retract into a ball or cup of sorts?
the anemone that came with the rock i just got when open is a circle with protruding "tenticles" that are rounded on the ends and a slight shading to white on the ends.
the ones that are open remind me of a flower because of the sort of circle in the center.....
they do "move" around and respond to the movement of the water and stuff going by.......
i have around 6 on that cured rock.....
i have seen one sort of stretch out and the base reminds me of the shape of the base of a rose only narrower..........
its very difficult to get a clear photo of it......
I hope it is not that aptasia but im thinking that so far i dont think that is what it looks like...........
someone thought it might be a bubble coral..........

does anyone have any ideas as to what im describing?
