I purchased an anemone (it looked cool), but didn't catch the name of it ... and I can't find the name anywhere...

It has an orange base, its cords (I think thats what theyre called) are medium length and kinda fat and the same width from bottom to top - meaning no ball shape at the tip or point... they are white with a hot pink dot at the tip (not pointy).

It has attached itself to a piece of LR and has actually moved into a small crater in the hole - disappearing when it closes.

I know, I know... stupid to get without actually knowing what it was.. put it's really nice looking (IMO).

Please help... :o

Okay... I am really not at all good at taking pics of the tanks yet.... hopefully this pic is good enough for identification..

I am certainly no expert on anemones, but that looks like it could be a purple tip Sebae Anemone.

Then again, I could be wrong - it's happened once before ;)

to be a purple tip Sabea Anem. Very hardy and do well under just 10k or Actinic(sp?) lighting. But the colours could really come out in a VHO light system or MH.
