hey slip,
where can i buy one of those m80 ballast or whatever that runs the radium 400 watt bulb? are there any cheap places?

get a ballast thats pulse-start 400 watt.
do not get either a normal 400 watt or a HQI. you need the pulse start ballasts.
i dont know any cheap sources for 400 watt pulse starts for DIYers.
