chichlids for a 15gal long

hey PA,
as stated in yr other thread you are pretty much over stocked....

why not do like you said and wait till you have a better tank..

angels are a bad choice till you do.

:D

I'm do believe that i could fit just a couple more fish in the tank 15gal long 24" by 12", i think maybe slightly bigger, with only a few minnows 4 neons 3 cories and 3, (or maybe 2 i think one has disapperead) upside down catfish, the cories are only peppered so they are not as big as the other breeds.

here ya go

yo can maybe get some more fish in there.. not angels! since you have a long tank. try some kribs or even some keyholes

hhhmmm.....when you say minnows, are you reffering to white cloud mountain minnows?? If so, I may warn you that at times they tend to combat a bit with neons. As for wanting to add cichlids to your tank, you are pretty limited there. I would think maybe some rams, but use caution. As for kribs, they are great fish, but when the mature a bit and get ready to spawn, your neons are history. I think perhaps you would be better served sticking to regular tropicals for your 15g tank, and perhaps look into a 29g to start a small cichlid tank with. For the most part, tropicals and cichlids don't mix well.
