Trigger question!

I've had my new little friend now for about 2 weeks and he/she is great, very active and eating well. I have offered a few different things and have had great success with all but am wondering what else I can give to broaden it's diet ... so far we've done

Mysis shrimp (frozen)
Brine shrimp (frozen)
Formula I or II - can't remember (frozen)
Krill - tiny maybe chopped (frozen)

I am planning to pick up some more of each above and some frozen squid and larger krill, what else could I get for the trigger? What about those silverside things? Is there anything LIVE yet cheap that I could give, maybe as a treat? I can't be giving him $12 pepermint shrimp or anything like that. I've heard about ghost shrimp, what are those?

This is my first trigger, any other basic info would be great from people who have had them. You know, behavior and such. I've heard they can do some neat things ... spitting water, whirling noises, but I haven't had the pleasures as of yet. I think he/she is just starting to get use to me now.

I feed all of my Triggers primarily foods by Ocean Nutrition like frozen Formula One, Form Two, Trigger form, Special Form VHP, and shrimp, scallop and crab meat from the local grocery store (Safeway).
As far as live foods, live foods will only increase the triggers aggression so I always tell people to stay away from them. They think "feeders" and such are games, and before long they figure out that their tankmates can be games too. Triggs are too smart for their own good so just be aware of that. Ghost Shrimp would be the only live food I would use with triggs. They are a type of freshwater shrimp that are commonly sold as feeders or algae eaters depending on the fish store. They are generally no more than 50 cents a shrimp. All of my Triggs will spit water, make their special noises. I once worked with a lg male Undulated Trigg at a fish store and I taught him to jump the center bar of the tank. It was cool! Anyway, hope this helps and good luck.
