opinion on these fish as tankmates?

I would like to know what kind of fish that I can add after my tank is situated that will eat all of these fry as well as any other fish that would look good in the tank. I would like to get an angel fish if that is possible I am not to sure what else but I know I do not want any more livebearers as I have my fill. The list below is what I have presently have any ideas would be great:) Thanks again all have a good one.

What about a nice school or two of tetras? Glo lights, black, or even serpaes would look nice in your tank. Perhaps a dwarf gourami? What about a rainbow shark?

An Angel fish would EAT all of the fry that the parents don't get to first. Also if you did get the angel the tetras would be a snack too. Try some zebra danios a group if you'd like a school of fish. I have angels and gouramis together and they don't mind each other and a 55 gal has more space than my 40

I can't see any reason why you shouldn't get an angel, mine lives in a 45g with platys, corys, neons and cherry barbs and he seems happy. Angels are very good at ridding your tank of fry. I always try to save some, and so far it's been difficult!

If you do get an angel and decide to add some tetras as well, be careful what kind of tetras you get. Serpaes will almost certainly nip your angel's fins. I've got neons, and while they don't bother the angel at all, they may end up as his lunch one day!

If you would like some sweet natured, fun loving fish I recommend a few cherry barbs; they're not fin nippers, they're colourful, they don't have to be kept in shoals (they're often sold in m/fm pairs) and mine play like little otters in the filter waterfall all day.
