HI I,m new to this site and so far think it is great . I look forward to useing it and hopefully getting to know some of you. I have a 150 gal. tank mostly fish . I do regular water changes and all my water quality test always come back wonderful, virtually no traces of ammonia or nitrite even nitrate is almost nonexistant. But my tank is always plagued with brown, green and red slime algae. There isn,t any more desireable growing .So if anyone may have some tips on getting rid of the slime and growing something more benifitial. Please Help.

Since your tank is fairly established, please give us a rundown on your tank, equipment, Maintenance, and your inhabitants. This will help us further in analyzing the system to see if there is something that is causing the constant growth.

Tank 150 gal long glass with enough live rock to cover the entire back,2 aqua clear 300 filters (no carbon) , protien skimmer , 2 circulation pumps , 2 dual bulb power compact lights 50/50 bulbs.

2 fox face 1 blonde naso 1 sailfin tang 1 algae blenny
1 percula clown 1 maroon/gold clown 1 magenta dotty back
I feed them around 7:00 pm frozen formula one and two.
water change 15 gal every 2 weeks
lights are on for about 10 hours
