I have a large lion fish (Russel) who has developed a heavy film over his eyes, and many small white spots--like salt grains, he is not eating and is listless and his color has darkened as it does when he is stressed. I have an 85 gal. tank. I gave him a formalin bath 2 days ago, and a 1/3 water change to the tank. Have now treated the tank with copper on advice from local aquarium--(not a good source for assistance)-was wondering how long before he should show signs of improvement. In the tank are a yellow Tang and Squirrel Eyed fish--both seem healthy and are eating well.
