Well crud!
I'm getting really irritated.
Orbit....I had a thread going in chit-chat trying to figure out my problem. Instead of re-hashing it here, you can check it out and give me any advice there!
Thx!

Pics are slow to load, but look good...I would reduce their size a bit, then reload them to the page (ie, make them 3X4, instead of making the webpage display them at that size). Would make it way quicker--especially for those who aren't on T1 lines!

Nice pics.
They definitely need to be resized. I sat through the first one loading and shrunk it down to 450 by 338. Attached it if you're interested.

size it to 480 x 360 would be nice enough. usually a 4:3 ratio.
this sucks having to load the pictures for such a long time.
i didn't bother to sit thru it. i'm on a high-speed connection and still it's slow, i wonder how long it took to upload.

Roper - those images are 3MB plus each! On a dial up, it'd take hours to display the page!
You need to reduce the resolution - massively - screens are about 72 dpi so a two inch square picture only needs to be 144x144. I downloaded the first one and found that the actual image is really 2048x1536!
Saving as a jpeg you can choose the quality - reducing it saves on file size massively, and the image will still display absolutely fine.
You need to get your image sizes down to a couple of hundred kilobytes at most - even on my broadband connection this took several minutes to download.

LOL, no wonder it took ages to load.
i'm on a fast line but it's in the office's network. takes a while even to download 500k, top speed is 4mins for 6mb. so i'll have to wait 8 mins or more just to download all those pictures. haha......
that's bad.
