I'm no newbie to the hobby, but new to this site. I'm looking for ideas for a 55gal tank. Planting arangements, rock formation setups, etc. Is there a gallery of pics somewhere from which I could steal ideas?

Oh, great site. I'm returning to the hobby after about 8 years in exile. My younger brother moved in with me in 1996, bringing with him his baby Red-belly. I was tearing down my salt reef at the time, and to be hospitable, set up the 55 for the piranha. Well, he moved out 5 years ago, and the aged piranha (which stayed) just expired last week (thing was so old, it only had 2 or 3 teeth left). I cleaned and cycled the tank. I now have a clean slate. I can be an aquarist again, instead of a zoo keeper (no offense to fans of predator tanks)..

Kveeti's link is a great one and I also Googled "Aquascaping pictures" and got some pretty good hit's that may be worth a look. There are also a couple of "theory behind aquascaping" articles as well (although the general consensus seems to be 10% skill, 90% imagination).

Another way would be for some of the members here to post some pics (:idea2: hint, hint) in this thread....
HTH :D
