I'm a wee bit handy at graphics. I've done loads of images over the years but they just sit on my hard drive doing nothing. If anyone wants a few desktop pics, follow this link.
http://www.truescotland.com/john/johnpics.htm
The images are 1024x768 pixels. They are a bit wacky but that's just me.
And if anyone is interested, the software used can be found at http://povray.org/. It's free. All you need is a little knowledge of geometry and a big imagination.

You're right with Poser, Timmain42. I do use it to model characters. The rest is all done with pure source code and no GUI. The language is similar to C in structure, except that it's a script that 'describes' the objects in the scene. It's a very slow process.
I've used Bryce and the rest but have always liked this freebie software because I just prefer writing code.

Seems we all like a bit of wacky art. Great stuff. Most of my early work is really psychadelic and I'll have to regenerate the images sometime.
I forgot to mention that there was two of my images (Arctic Sunset & Dusky) that were generated on another freebie program. This one only does landscapes but it's real easy to use and you will have a lot of fun with it.

Check it out. You will love this.

I'm gonna be real cheeky here, but if you have time and it's not too much hassle something dark colour schemewise, with a big cat (tiger / jaguar / leopard)would be awesome..... :bowing:
I'd love to have the talent / imagination to do it myself.... Thanks... :D

that IS a cool one Ayrianth!
Ayri ... that is awesome. I admit I have a thing for dragons. I've always found them to be the most artist subject that could be drawn, painted, sculpted and so on. There is so much detail to them and so beautifully done.
Nice one, babe!

Dangerdoll and Lila, here's a link with 180 dragon images that I found a few years ago. I don't know if any are wallpaper size but you can always add a border around them to make them fit nicely with your screen res.
Enjoy :)
