Red Belly Piranhas

A friend of mine is looking to get rid of 3 Red Belly Piranhas, I have an extra tank sitting around doing nothing, so i thought I would take them off his hands for a while. I know very little about Piranhas and was wondering if anyone knew of a good online resource.

i was looking for the same thing myself a couple of months ago and didn't really find anything much on the web. i ended up getting hold of a book by wolfgang schulte which was pretty good. have a look at

it won't tell you much in itself but there's a list of books which may be of interest (including the one i read!)

i would love some myself but they're fairly hard to get hold of over here so i'm still looking.

I would recommend searching the piranha forum at predatoryfish.net . It should prove to be an extensive archieve, and anything you don't find in the search can be easily answered as there are tons of piranha keepers over there.
