O.k., I have a great set-up (at least in my mind) but the constant trimming has me re-thinking things. Rosette plants yes, just looking for specific suggestions from those who have also gotten tired of trimming stem plants.
Tanks in advance!

I personally find bolbitus to be a really interesting plant. It grow so slow it will drive you nuts, but it is pretty awesome. I also like annubias, but seem to be the only one in the world that can't grow them well, and of course Java fern which is IMO greatly underatted as an interesting and beautiful plant.

My anubias is definitely one of my favourite plants. Larger crypts are good. Dwarf sag doesn't need much trimming and my amazon sword doesn't seem to grow too fast either.

Lobelia, JFern and bolbitus.
That's funny as I am taking some of my stem plants out right now. I love my sword but it only grwos slwo due to my setup. Java Fern is slow and as was mentioned looks great in any tank (IMO).
