Dual filters

I was reading some of the threads and came to the conclusion that I would like 2 filters on my tank. So I now have an AC 500 and AC 300. Do I need to have them on full flow? Some of my silk plants are almost touching the gravel now from the current.

I can rearrange to make things better but was just wondering if I needed full flow on both..
 
No, you don't need them on full flow. Many of us spend considerable time arranging/modifying filters to maximize flow while minimizing current in the tank. It's not good for your fish to be swimming at full speed just to stay in one place.

Since the ACs (and most filters, for that matter) have flow adjustments, feel free to dial them down.
