My water, if I recall correctly, has copper in it, but at a level safe for human consumption. I don't seem to be able to keep snails alive in my tank though, and I'd like to have some MTS in my aquarium. I saw this product that was supposed to detixify copper by binding it into some larger molecule. has anybody used this, and does it seem effective? hmm, hopefully happychem will read this thread... Think it's possible, happy?

Anybody else's opinion is welcome as well :)
thanks!

I'm not sure if copper is classified as a heavy metal or not. I don't currently use any water conditioner at all though. When I do water changes, I drain, fill buckets with temp matched water, stir vigorously to help outgas the water(has lots of tiny bubbles... I stir it up until it's clear then for a while longer) then fill the tank and add flourish.

I have well water so no chlorine or chloramine in the water.
