Hello, my name is John and I have a patients problem.....

Okay, so far I am 8 days into my fishless cycle. I'm thinking things are going pretty good. However, since you're all here and so eager to help a newbie, I thought it a good idea to make sure I'm on the right track.

So in my 77 gal tank I am running an AC500 and AC300
temp is 80
(I'm not real good at reading the colors but I think this is close)
NH3 is 4 (I'm adding ammonia once in a while to keep it around 2-4)
N02 is about 3.3
N03 is about 80-90
PH around 6.3

Looks like a bit of green and brown algae growing but not much.. So, do I need to do anything or do I continue to just work on my patients problem???

If your having algae problems cut the lighting period back, and start doing water changes to cut back on the Nitates that the algae feed off. By cutting back its needs it should kill it off or at least knock it on its butt.
