has anyone tried introducing a baby angelfish into an established tank that already has one larger (~2 years old) angelfish? i used to have two angelfish but one of them died over the summer so i was thinking about getting a new baby one. the two i used to have used to fight a lot though, so i figure the big one might attack a little baby one if i add it now.
ps, he is really nice for the most part to all the tetras and rasboras i have in there with him, even the little bitty ones.

I wouldn't add just one little one. Get several if you can and add them at the same time, if there is aggression it will be spread out over the others as well not just on one. Let the larger one pick the smaller angel he/she likes and that way aggression shouldn't be an issue. Angels should be kept in groups of 4 or more anyway. As far as it not having aggression toward the tetras thats common, the angel recognizes that its not another angel and feels no threat from it.

my tank isn't big enough for more than 2, so i guess i should only have 1 anyway since if there is just 2 they fight. 2 of them just look so cool though, and plus the baby ones are so cute and hard not to buy... :o
