I fed my Trachyphyllia radiata some krill the other day its tenticles had been comming out at night. Now for the past 2 days I have come home from work and checked the tank and its tenticles have not been out in 2 days. Is this normal that once they are fed or full they dont extend them till they are ready to eat again or is it sick? Also is there a good place or book(s) anyone can recommend to learn more about my current corals and future ones? Thanks for your time and help.

Corals just do what they want when they want. I see tentacles extended at the oddest times, then they shrink, then expand- they have their own agenda. I wouldn't worry too much about it- depending on how much it ate it probably had a good sized meal and it takes them a while to process the food.
The Borneman book Aquarium Corals is good.
