I also have 2 bumblebee gobies in with them and J.fern. I would like to set up my 37g tank with some Vals, A.nana, J.fern and a few more gobies but I'm concerned about the specific gravity being too high for the plants, too low for the fish. Can you recommend a happy medium? If not, I have plastic plants in storage.
P.s. don't ask what size tank they're in now, I ain't gonna tell ya.
Are you aiming at me at the moment? Every post I'm responding to seems to be from you...
IMHO & IME, GSPs need to be moved slowly to high BW or full marine as the mature. I'm uncertain whether or not the suggested levels would even register on a hydrometer, but they should be at 1.015 - 1.021 at maturity. That would let out both the Bumblebees and FW salt-tolerating plants. At over 1.0018 you can use some Caulerpa and other macroalgaes again. See:
No and yes! I wasn't intentionally "aiming" at you but I was hoping you would reply. I value your input! With all the info you give, just trying to give a little back (in a light-hearted joking way ). If the material in itself isn't enough to get a giggle, you gotta laugh at the insistent idiocy of it all...right? Other than that, I don't have much to offer. If I come across some midevil apparel, I'll let you know. If I do end up with more shrimp than I need, you're first on the list to get some (and I won't charge much if any ).
As for all the post from me. We finally got cable connection and it's awesome! I said I'd never pay for it! My wife started up a little hobby/business and can right it off on our taxes!
