I hope his is the correct forum for this, if not could a mod please move it for me. I had a recent loss with my fish in my tank and now looking to re-establish it. I know looking around here and reading up I seen someone had Columbus, OH under their avatar as location, could anyone help me out with a reputable friendly dealer in the area to purchase fish and supplies? I know of Jack's on Tussing and Brice along with the PetCo and Petsmart out there which is usually where I got my stuff before. But learning and reading here I really wanna start going to some place that specializes in fish and aquarium items and can really help me out in learning more.

Hey there. I've been to Jacks a few times because it isn't too far from where I live. It's not too bad. The plant selection is fairly simple but I got my really nice clown plec from them.

Aquarium Adventure is on Sawmill Road and is a lot bigger. I find it's a bit more expensive but the plant and fish selection is better. I've not bought any fish from them, but most of my plants are from there. It's close to my work so it's fairly convenient for plants.

There's a user on here called daveedka who recommended Byerlys on West 5th Ave. I've not been there yet but he really knows his stuff and I would trust his judgement so check it out.

yeah, I almost forgot about Aquarium Adventure. My gf works just down Sawmill and I been there a few times, they did seem somewhat expensive, and it really is not a close drive for me to consider them. I live on the East side near Hamilton and Refugee so I am pretty close to Jack's and the two pet chains there on Brice. Will look into the place on 5th though since I am off work tomorrow.
