Anyone heard of ...

.

No, that's not it. It looked kinda like a common pleco but was all spotted instead of just motled. You could clearly see all the spots and they were a white color, not bright white but like an off white and the body was a deep green, like a dark hunter green or something. The dorsal fin sticks up really high when it moves around (thus the name I'm guessing) and it seemed shorter then the common, kinda squished. They also seemed to have a longer nose then the common and these crazy horn-thingys just in front of the eyes. Does this help any?

Sorry, I can't answer the Topic question, but thanks for the Pleco website! :)

Maybe this one? It's the only green one I can think of off the top of my head. L200, aka Green Pleco, aka Lemon Pleco, aka Green Phantom Pleco.

I have the same one in my tank and love the guy. He's pretty s can be but a little shy. He doesn't grow quite as large as a common, I believe 6" tops him off but definitely one of the prettier plecos IMO. How much was it going for?

thanks

Thanks all, I think it's this one ...

It looks a lot like them. Same green color and off white spots. Has the longer nose (I think anyway) and the spiky-thingys in front of the eyes. Thanks all, I'm gonna try to do somemore research on them now that I think I know what they are.

BTW, they were $4.50 each on special at the store.
